Almost all the time our interviewees are reached via SMS. A copy of the interviewees list is also posted on the School's Notice Board for those who may want to check it there. In few instances, you may be called for clarification or rescheduling.

REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERVIEW (Come along with these for your interview)

1. ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE (Biometric)​​

Interviewees with old Birth Certificate will be considered in the interim but such persons will have to apply for the Biometric Birth Certificate from the Birth and Death Registrar before the offer of admission period. (It is advised that interviewees apply for it before attending the interview)

2. ORIGINAL WASSCE CERTIFICATE​​

Interviewees that come with result slips will be verified (The Interviewee will have to purchase a result checker for that) NOV/DEC Certificates should be brought along if you sat for one (Interviewees that come with NOV/DEC result slips will go through verification)

3. GAZETTE​​

Bring along a Ghana Publishing Gazette that spells out your name, age, date of birth change if you've had your name altered or changed. Conflicting names, age and date of birth has a consequential effect on your admission.

4. INTERVIEW FEE OF TWO HUNDRED GHANA CEDIS (GH 200.00)

6. ACCOMODATION​​

​The school makes provision for interviewees that wishes to pass the night before the interview in the school. An amount of Fifty Cedis(GH¢ 50.00) is charged per night for this provision. This is to help interviewees that travel from distant places.​ You will have to come with your bed spread and cover sheet.
All interviewees are advised to report a day before their interview date, except you are in or around Takoradi and want to come in the morning.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ's)

1. What if my testimonial, birth certificate, or any other document is not ready?​​

Please obtain the necessary documents before attending the interview, as they are required both for the interview and in case you are offered admission. Since you do not have them yet, it is essential to start the process now to ensure you have them ready by the time you receive an admission offer. Your inability to provide these documents during admissions will affect your eligibility.

2. What about dress code and hairstyle?​​

Dress codes and hairstyles are your choice. There are no specific requirements.

3. Is it compulsory to bring testimonials?​​

Yes, it is compulsory to bring testimonials. If you have a special reason for not obtaining it, please communicate this to us via support@nmtcsekondi.edu.gh for assistance.

4. Will the original documents be returned to us?​​

Yes, original documents will be returned to you after verification.

5. What is a Gazette?​​

The Gazette is an authoritative source for official government announcements, often used for legal and administrative purposes. For your interview, you will need to present a Gazette ONLY IF your name, age, or date of birth on your documents differ from one another (e.g., discrepancies between your birth certificate and WAEC certificate). Conflicting details can affect your admission, making it essential to provide a Gazette to resolve these issues.

6. How do I obtain a Gazette?​​

7. What if I don't get the Gazette before the interview date?​​

If you initiate the process but do not receive the Gazette before the interview, you will be given a receipt to show the interview panel as proof that you have started the process.

8. Can you please explain the sponsorship letter?​​

This applies to interviewees who have obtained scholarships for their education.

9. Can we bring the old birth certificate?​​

While you are working on obtaining a biometric birth certificate, you can present the old birth certificate. You must, however, show proof to the panel that you have initiated the process of obtaining a new birth certificate.

10. What is the date and time for the interview?​​

All interviewees will receive the date and time for their interview via SMS. If, for any reason, you do not receive your notification, please contact support@nmtcsekondi.edu.gh for assistance.

11. My WAEC Certificate is not ready.​​

Present the original online result slip as a substitute.
